Leke Abejide Foundation Begins Capacity Building Training For Kogi West Women in Cooperative Societies

The Leke Abejide Foundation a non-profitable organisation known for its cooperate responsibility through Hon. Leke Abejide, Member House of Representatives, Yagba East, Yagba West and Mopamuro Federal Constituency, the founder and financial of the foundation is set to hold a 2-day workshop training on loan disbursement to women cooperatives society across Kogi West.

The basic objective of this program is to train the stakeholders, leaders, members, managers and personnel of cooperative societies on the complete understanding of cooperatives in terms of concept, policy, philosophy, principles of disbursement. The management skills required for the successful formation, business strategies, funding, analysis, control, planning, implementation, credit, marketing and organizational management of different forms of cooperatives as viable enterprises are emphasized for the formalities of operations.

The training methodology combines discussions and illustrations to cooperative societies, participants will gain both theoretical and practical knowledge of the topics. The emphasis is on the practical application of the topics and as a result participant will be adequately equiped with both the ability and the confidence to apply the techniques learned duringthe workshop.

The training is dated for Friday 12th and Saturday 13th July 2024 at  Leke Abejide ICT centre , Isanlu, Yagba East LGA at 10 am prompt.
 
The foundation wants participants to maximise the opportunity to learn how to better manage resources to be released to the cooperative societies.
