OLAYINKA BRAIMOH INITIATIVE: Founder Honours Late Mum, Awards Scholarship to 100 Female Students in Kabba/ Bunu

In its bid of empowering young intellects and investing in the future of the youth, the Olayinka Braimoh Initiative (OBI) has awarded scholarship to 100 female students in Kabba/Bunu Local Government area of Kogi State.

The Scholarship scheme was in honour of the Founders’ Mother, Mrs. Margret Omonipo Braimoh who died 30 years ago.

In commemoration of the 30th memorial, the foundation on Tuesday in a statement signed by Akudo Nwokorie (National Coordinator) and Kayode Adepele (State Coordinator) announced that 100 students from Kabba/Bunu Local Government have been earmarked to benefit from the Foundation’s Scholarship scheme.

“The scholarship scheme is crafted to offer educational support to underprivileged and disadvantaged students in the locality. Each scholarship will encompass tuition fees and associated educational costs, enabling beneficiaries to focus on their studies without the stress of financial concerns.

“Mrs. Margret Omonipo Braimoh who was the pioneer female university graduate from Bunu District of Kabba/Bunu Local Government area of Kogi state, was a committed educator and a source of inspiration to many who valued the transformative influence of education.

“Her dedication to nurturing young minds and advocating for academic excellence remains a source of motivation for us. This scholarship scheme serves as a tribute to her enduring legacy and unwavering commitment to education.

“We extend an invitation to the community to unite with us in honoring the legacy of Mrs. Margret Omonipo Braimoh and backing the educational aspirations of our young scholars.
