The Executive Secretary State Emergency Management Agency (SEMA), Alh Mouktar Atimah has Congratulated the Executive Governor of Kogi State, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo on the successful conduct of Local Government Election.
Furthermore, he congratulated the newly elected Chairman of Okehi Local Government, Hon. Amoka Monday (Odu) and his Vice, Mrs Abdulwahab Halimat on their Overwhelming victory at the Polls.
Similarly, Alh Atimah Congratulated all the newly elected council chairmen and councillors across 21 Local Government Areas in Kogi State. He added that the overwhelmed victory of the All Progressive Congress (APC) was based on the outstanding performance of Gov. Ahmed Usman Ododo.
While rejoicing with the elected chairmen on the landslide victory, he implored them to follow the leadership styles of Gov. Ododo and initiate people-centred programmes that would complement the efforts of State Government by providing the dividends of democracy to the people at the Local Government Areas.
He concluded by thanking all the APC leaders and members, particularly from Okehi LGA for staying focused and the teamwork campaign that led to overwhelming victory of Hon. Amoka Monday (Odu).
