KOGI: Gov. Ododo presents N58.2 billion Budget of “Inclusive Development” to State Assembly

Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo of Kogi State on Tuesday presented the 2025 budget estimates to the Kogi State House of Assembly today.

The proposed budget, totaling N582,404,119.489, tagged “Inclusive Development” represents a 43.34% increase from the revised 2024 budget of N406,321,130,013.

The 2025 budget estimates are expected to address key sectors such as education, healthcare, infrastructure, agriculture, and economic development.

“This budget aims to stimulate job creation, infrastructure development, food security, and staff welfare.”

The governor concluded that the 2025 budget estimates will help the state take a significant step towards achieving its economic and development objectives. As

The Speaker, Kogi State House of Assembly Rt. Hon. Umar Yusuf had earlier eulogized the governor for creating enabling environment for legislation, urged head of MDAs to comply with the budget approval to enhance socioeconomic development of the State.
