The Commissioner for Information and Communications, Hon. Kingsley Femi Fanwo, today 22nd December 2024 receives an award of Outstanding Excellence.
The meritorious award was presented to the Hon. Commissioner by the Responsible Amity Men’s Club (RAMC) for his selfless contribution towards youth and women empowerment, mobilization and community development.
RAMC highlighted that Hon Fanwo has impacted on the lives of students and widows through his KFF Foundation. The foundation which has renovated boreholes across Yagba Federal Constituency and has also supported students at all levels to succeed in their academic endeavors; adding that he also single handedly built a Health Center and equipped it in Takete Ide before handing it over to the State Government, as he had also procured Health Insurance for widows across Mopamuro among many other interventions.
Receiving the award,Hon Fanwo expressed his gratitude to God almighty and RAMC for the recognition, noting that he feels honoured to have been recognised by the club.
Speaking further, the Hon. Commissioner who was represented by the Ministry’s Information Officer, Mr Segun Adegboyega reiterated his unwavering commitment to human capital and community development, adding that the award is a call to do more for humanity.
According to thePresident of RAM C, Comrade Segun Fasekun stated that the club was formed in October 2014 to unify personalities, render assistance to people and Foster unity among communities. He further emphasized that the club had carefully observed and selected personalities that have given support towards the development and growth of everybody around them and to the society at large.
