Okun Parapo Association Kubwa Abuja celebrate their Day in grand styles
The Okun speaking people of Kogi State that are residents within Bwari, Gwagwalada LGAs and environs came together to mark their lovely day at ALGOS Hotel opposite Railway station in Kubwa Abuja on the 16th Day of February 2025.
In his opening address Mr. Abejide Ayodele Joseph who doubles as the Association Chairman charged every member to love one another irrespective of your village, religion, political parties,Age differences and Social Status because there can’t be development if there is no true and genuine love and as we commemorate the Valentine week with our Day Celebrations it shows that we are loving people and we should always preach love in our various place of work, he continued he charged them to be hard working and should avoid bad friends so that the image of Jerusalem should not be jeopardize because of worldly thing.
The occasion was ably Chaired by Eld. Sunday Ademilugba a friend to the President of the Association. He encouraged everyone to play along with the advise their president gave to them that anywhere they’re together and it is time for the meeting he will always hurried him up that today is our meeting and I must lead by example. He said this is an avenue we can help ourselves to grow in all our endeavors and we should always preach peace amongst ourselves.
The occasion was graced by people from Lugbe, Garki, Kuje, Duste, Gwarimpa, Zuba Area 1 and environs and it was a One in Town event.
