Lack of Kabba Representation in Kogi State Executive Council; The Time To Address the Imbalance is Now.

A non – political pressure group with the insignia ” Owes’ Forum” is rather concerned about the absence of Kabba extraction in the presently constituted Kogi State Executive Council under His Excellency, Governor Ododo Ahmed Usman.

Dear members of the fourth realm of the estate, the need to address you becomes imperative because Kabba is the undisputable headquarter of Okun land, yet it lacks representation in Kogi State executive council.

For us, this is a clear aberration that needs urgent attention .

Gentlemen of the Press, it is germane to state without equivocation that Kabba district have always voted overwhelmingly for the All Progressives Congress (APC) right from former Governor Yahaya Adoza Bello administration till date.

We must also state emphatically that our loyalty, commitment and positive contribution to the overall success of Governors Yahaya Bello and Usman Ododo Ahmed administration cannot be thrown into the waste bin with a wave of the hand.

It’s on record that kabba district in kabba/Bunu local government has not been given opportunity to produce a commissioner for the past 13 years consecutively, and this invariably excluded kabba district from the state executive council where state topmost decisions are been taken.

On this note, we urge our amiable and humility personified Executive Governor, Ododo Ahmed Usman to address the imbalance in the interest of equity, fairness and inclusivity by appointing one Commissioner from Kabba district of kabba/Bunu LGA.

We humbly make this specific and justified demand for considering our strategic importance and massive voting strength in Kabba – Bunu LGA.

Distinguished Men of the Press, we appreciate your precious time during the course of this media interaction.
