Ohimege, Community leaders, lauds Sen. Karimi’s N1.3b Classroom, Laboratories Projects At GSSS Koton-Karfe
The Ohimege-Igu Kingdom, HRM, Dr. Saidu Akawu Salihu, an alumnus of GSSS Koton-Karfe and other community leaders, have praised the efforts of the Senator Representing Kogi West Senatorial District, Sen. Steve Sunday Karimi, for his pivotal role, in facilitating the ongoing construction N1.2b construction of new blocks of classrooms, administrative blocks and laboratories at the Government Science Secondary School, GSSS, Koton-Karfe.
According to the royal father, “This singular efforts marks a vital step towards enhancing science education, improving infrastructure that will lead to the study of sciences and technology in the Senatorial district.
The Ohimegye described the gesture as a reflection of the senator’s unwavering commitment to the development of Kogi West.
The monarch gave the commendation shortly after an assessment tour by Journalists who visited and the inspected ongoing work projects at GSSS Koton-Karfe, a project facilitated by Sen. Karimi on Tuesday
The Ohimege-Igu expressed his heartfelt gratitude to the Senator’s contribution towards reawakening the lost glory of GSSS Koton Karfe, highlighting that the importance of the newly built classrooms and laboratories will foster a better educational experience for students and in the study of Sciences, considered as the bedrock of technological advancement.
“These new classrooms, laboratory and administrative block will not only enhance the learning environment but also inspire students to achieve their academic goals.”

In addition to praising the Senator’s vision, other Community leaders, Barr. Tanko Mohammed at the inspection, expressed satisfaction with the quality of the construction work.
They acknowledged the positive transformations that the Senator’s initiatives have brought to various communities within the senatorial district.
The site Engineer Musbau Mukaila said Sen. Karimi’s gesture intends to improve the quality of education in Kogi local Government Area, other local Government Areas within the constituency in Kogi West.
The principal of GSSS, Koton-Karfe, Inusa Dauda, represented by the school Examination Officer, Mr. David Konto commended the facilitator of the four educational projects to GSSS, Koton-Karfe, adding that it will help in strengthening education and aid effective teaching, by stimulating the students’ interest in learning science subjects.
