DEMOCRACY NEWSLINE NEWSPAPERS AWARDS: ‘Olomo’ to bag Community Development Services Award
The Special Adviser to the National President, Association of Local Governments in Nigeria (ALGON) and community development enthusiast, Engr. Kayode Adedayo aka Olomo is set to receive a prestigious award on Community Development Services by Democracy Newsline Newspaper.
According to Elder Olalekan Aiyenigba, the Executive Editor of Democracy Newsline Newspaper, Engr Kayode Adedayo has continued to demonstrate his total commitment to the overall development of Okun land and the less privilege in the society.
He said the prestigious award will be presented during the 15th Public Lecture and Award Ceremony scheduled to hold on August 26, 2025, at the Banquet Hall, National Merit House, Maitama, Abuja.
The program will commence with a red carpet at 5 pm, followed by the main event at 6 pm, and a dinner program.
The theme of the event is “The Role of Independent Media Organizations in Promoting Participatory Democracy and Good Governance in Nigeria.”
The event will feature guest speakers and key stakeholders from various sectors.
Additionally, the occasion will be used to launch a ₦100 million fund for the procurement of podcast studio equipment and the establishment of Democracy Newsline Newspaper Online Television.
