‎Momoh Obaro Tours road Projects in Kogi Central, Thumb-Up Gov Ododo

‎The All Progress Congress Secretary (APC) in UK, Chief Momoh Obaro said governor Usman Ododo has done well to guarantee a re-election, calling on his Egbira kinsmen to rally round the governor.

‎The APC scribe made the disclosure yesterday after touring 120 community roads in the five local government area of Kogi Central senatorial district.
‎
‎Obaro who was excited about the road projects, expecially the construction of Okaito – Obangede bridge which was last constructed by the colonial rulers.
‎
‎”I think it has been phenomenal, olds road are been reconstructed, new roads are opening up and we’re very happy with the governor and the government for what he has done. From our tour, there are about 120 roads that are under construction. And 70 percent of them have already been completed in just than two years of this government.
‎
‎”This is my ancestral place and this bridge was constructed by the colonial master which is over 70 years ago. This particular community had suffered for lack of a good road. Successive administrations had made promises but were unable to do it. This is a very big one for us and as a community, we appreciate the intervention -this is like giving us life.
‎
‎”A lot of government has come and gone and all we get from them is promise, so we must appreciate governor Ododo for solving a 70 years problem.
‎
‎”There are three bridges on this road alone that has all been completed. The bridges linked communities of Odo, Obangede, Okaito and Osuwen which brings seamless flow of people and goods – this will accelerate the economic development of the area.

‎”Roads are fundamental and important to human and economic growth. I’m happy the government is trying all it can to solve the foundational problems.”

‎Obaro also gave insight into why he embarked on the self-project tour, “Why I am doing this is because I am from this senatorial district and I want to validate what I have been hearing; and what I have seen exceeded what I have heard.

‎”I am also happy that the engineers said the projects are scattered across the three senatorial district of the state, and the projects are in packages.”
‎
‎The APC stalwarts enjoyed the people of the state particular the governor’s kinsmen to rally behind him for a second term, “I am encouraging the people of the central that the time to support our governor is now. I know there may be some people who may yet to get what they want personally from the governor, but the roads and other interventions is what will benefit the entire people.
‎
‎”I will also enjoy leaders across the other senatorial districts to take a step and see what the governor has done for their area because I have been told that these projects are replicated across the state. We all need to come together and support the governor for another time.”

‎He however called on governor Ododo not to relent but continue his good stride, “The people are happy with these interventions and I want him to do more.”
