The Federal Lawmaker who expressed satisfaction with the arrangement put in place for the the exercise, called on the people of Kogi West to come out in their large numbers and register as members of the APC.

“The exercise is peaceful, well organized, and orderly. APC is the only formidable party
far better than previous administrations.
No community in Kogi without an improvement in infrastructure.”

According to him, despite the fall in the price of crude oil which is the major source of revenue of the country, the present administration of President Muhammadu Buhari has been focused and committed to the development of the country.

He further said ” We have more reasons to support APC at all levels. This is because inspite the Challenges which is normal, this Government has been focused. But what we must address our mind to is that Are there challenges? Yes there’re challenges. Are they confronting those challenges, inspite the poor revenue compared to past administrations. Yes they are doing exactly that”

“At a time, crude oil use to sell $120-$130per barrel but today, oil is selling $50 per barrel.
So you can see the challenges of Governance and responsibilities are increasing, but being that as it may, I think this Government is focused.”

Senator Smart Adeyemi urged the people to give their maximum support to the present administrations at the Local, State and Federal to get more dividends of democracy.

“Anyone who wants improvement in the standard of living of our people in Kogi West should support Governor Yahaya Bello and Local Government Chairmen. Protection of lives and property cannot be taken from APC at both state and local governments and my brother, Alhaji Taofiq Isa, the Executive Chairman of Ijumu Local Government is doing well especially in the area of security.” He added.

The Senator particularly appealed to Ijumu people to reciprocate the love of the government by coming out enmasse to join the progressive party.
