Bunu Committee of Friends to honor Hon, Oloruntoba with a reception

A Frontline community development group, Bunu Committee of Friends will on Saturday 18th January, 2020 receive in honor their son, the immediate past Kogi state Commissioner for Agriculture, Hon. Kehinde Oloruntoba in a “Thank you for representing us well” reception at the open field, Iluke-Bunu in Kabba-Bunu local government area of the state.
According to the organisers, Honorable Oloruntoba deserves honour for serving in two different capacity within the last four years of His Excellency, Governor Yahaya Bello and for putting Bunu kingdom on the word map for his excellent performance and have described him as a good ambassador of Bunuland.
The organisers through, the Secretary of the organising/Planning commitee Otunba Kingsley Mokikan said In his capacity as the commissioner for Budget and planning, the state witnesses a new and better process to our budgeting system and his work there speaks volume up till date.
After a year in that capacity they said, “grace found him and he was directed by the Executive Governor who saw his ability to affect positively wherever he went, who then posted him to the Ministry for Agriculture at a time where the nation and state sought for diversified economy inflow”.
His entrance to the Agric ministry witnessed tremendous growth in our agriculture sector and in all of the responsibilities given him by his boss, his street credibility prowess enabled him to perform extremely well, they said.
The event will be under the chairmanship of the Deputy Governor of the state, His Excellency, Chief Edward Onoja and other key stakeholders in the state and Bunuland.
