Kogi State House of Assembly on Tuesday confirmed the appointment of Justice Henry Olusuyi as the substantive State Chief Judge of Kogi.
The Assembly confirmation follows the recommendation by the National Judicial Council of Justice Olusuyi to Governor Yahaya Bello as the most senior judge in the state
With the Assembly confirmation, Justice Olusuyi has becomes the substantive Chief Judge of the State, after his appointment in acting capacity our months ago by the Governor.
The Assembly at today’s plenary, in a unanimous vote, confirmed the appointment of the State Chief Judge.
Justice Olusuyi is now the third Chief Judge of the State, after Justice Umoru Eri and late Justice Nasiru Ajanah.
