I have settled with Gov Bello, I’m back home now – TVC BABAJIDE OTITOJU

Award winning journalists and principal anchor Journalist Hangout on TV Continental, Mr. Babajide Otitoju has indicated his interest to work closely with the administration of Governor Yahaya Bello to bring development to the state.
Ot said he is back home to join hands with other stakeholders to work for the progress of Kogi State.
Otitoju, an indigene of Ekirin/Adde, Ijumu council area of the state as always berated the state governor for his bad governance, unfashionable attitude and fighting nature.
The recall of senator Dino Melaye and the ‘militarilization of the Huber election was the height of dislike for the presenter who disowned the state, adopted Ekiti as his new  state and renounced senator Smart Adeyemi, rather; adopted Senator Olujimi as his senator.
But all that seems to be a thing of the past as the multiple award winner on Monday declared that he is back at home to join hands with the Yahaya Bello and relevant stakeholders to work for the progress of the state.
Otitoju disclosed this shortly after he was honoured by the Yeye Oge of Okun at the maiden ILEYA OMO OKUN (HOME COMING FESTIVAL) held in Kabba, headquarters of Kogi West Senatorial District.
According to him, “I am ready to work with the current administration and other stakeholders to make the state great. I spoke with the state Deputy Governor, Chief Edward Onoja yesterday to assure the government that I am back home to work for the overall development of the state.
“People should not be surprised that I am back home. I am no longer an adopted son of Ekiti State again.

“Despite the fact that I was not born at home, I am happy to announce that I have eturned home to dedicate my house inmy country home, Ekinrin Adde in Ijumu Local Government Area of Kogi State. I had informed the Monarch  of my community and the Olujumu of Ijumu that I am readily available to work for the progress of the entire state.”
Otitoju who said he has taken more than 18 awards this year, stressing that the OGO Okun Award is dear to him because it is from his root that he is being honoured. He commended the organisers of the event for the good initiative of celebrating people who have carved a niche for themselves in their chosen careers, stressing that the award will spur him to intensify more efforts in what he is doing.
“This award has brought me closer to my root. I am ready to sacrifice whatever I have for the development of my People. I am assuring my people that they will be seeing me regularly in the state.”
The latest development has made people rumoured that Otitoju may be in line for an appointment from the state governor, Yahaya Bello.
