Kidnapped Yagba West council Chairman, Kolawole regain freedom

The abductes Yagba West Local government chairman in Kogi State, Mr. Pius Kolawole has been releases.
Kolawole’s release was made known by the State Commissioner for Finance, Budget and Economic Planning, Asiwaju Asiru Idris in a shot message.
“With mixed feelings we thank God for life of Hon Pius Kolawole and his eventual released. God will expose the wicked ones. 
May the soul of my friend, Late Adebayo Solomon rest in peace. Amin   *MAAI*”
It will be recalled rbag the abductors initially demanded N100 million for the release of the elected chairman.
It is however not sure weather ransom was paid for his release and how much was laid.
Kolawole was kidnapped last Saturday evening on his way from Ilorin, Kwara state capital to his home town of Egbe, the border town between Kogi and Kwara state.
The attack claimed the life of the State Commissioner for Pension Board, Mr. Solomon Adebayo popularly called Akeweje who was in the same vehicle with the chairman.
However, the kidnappers did not touch the four years old son of late Akeweje who was in the vehicle at the time of attack.
While the police Orderly to the chairman took to his heel, the driver of the vehicle was badly wounded and shot at by the abductors and only regain consciousness the second day at the Egbe Hospital
