KOGI STATE GOVERNMENT MAKES BOLD MOVES TO TACKLES WATER PROBLEMS IN EGBIRALANDS

PRESENTS AWARD LETTER TO CONTRACTOR FOR OSARA DAM RETICULATION PROJECT

Following the state executive council decision on 8th July, 2020 approving the Osara Dam water reticulation project to Bilvisco investment Limited.
The Honourable commissioner for water resources, Abdulmumin DANGA, today presented the letter of award to the company in his office. Presenting the letter on behalf of the commissioner Engr,Victor Usman, the permanent secretary of the ministry congratulated the company.
He said that the project is aimed at supplying potable hygienic drinking water to the people of Adavi, Okene and Okehi local governments of central senatorial district.
He emphasized that the project is another demonstration of the present administrations commitment towards improving the standard of living of the state.
Responding the principal consultant off Bilvisco investment Limited, Mr, William Omojasola stated that the company was in the state to get water for its citizens.
He assured that the company will ensure the completion of the project within 24months as stipulated in the agreement and that the latest technology in water sector will be employed to deliver the multi-billion Naira water project.
Speaking further, he appreciated the governor Alhaji, Yahaya Bello for finding the company worthy of executing the project. He equally express his joy at the level of cooperation so far displayed by the Ohinoyi of Ebiraland Alhaji, Ado Ibrahim and other Ohi’s of Ebiraland.
In his own remark the General manager of the state water board Engr, Sagir Abdulsalam described the project as a landmark which the people will benefit from.
