**Inspects N4.7 billion reference hospital Contract in Kogi.
Governor Yahaya Bello of Kogi State yesterday formally flagg-off the All Progressive Congress (APC) membership registration and validation exercise at his country home polling unit 11 Agassa, Ahachi, Okeneba ward in Okene local government council of the state.
“We are registering and validating members into our party. People make the party. President Buhari has advised us to rebuild the party from bottom up. I have received nothing less than 25 million people that are ready to join the party,” he said.
The governor who was accompany by his wife, the deputy governor, Chief Edward Onoja and other prominent political office holders in the state, said inline with the directive of President Muhammadu Buhari to rebuild the party from bottom up, he was ready to build the party and make it one of the strongest party in the country.
“We are charged to mobilise, sensitize, educate all Nigerian citizen those that are in the party and those that are not in the party to join APC, all the youths, women those in other politicl party come and join the party. It is only in APC that you can realised your dream.
Meanwhile, the governor on Tuesday inspected the ongoing construction works at Kogi State Reference Hospital in Okene which cost the state government the sum of N4.7 billion.
The Governor who was led by the Kogi State Commissioner for Works and Housing, Engr. Abaubakar Ohere inspected the over 300-bed space hospital which will be equipped with state of the art medical equipment.
He disclosed that when completed, the Kogi State Reference Hospital, Okene and other health infrastructure his administration is providing will address medical needs of the people of the state and Nigeria by extension.
Governor Bello commended the contractors, site engineers and other construction workers for the speed and quality of job done so far.
On the roads, he reiterated that his administration release about N4billion naira for roads construction projects across the state.
