TWO persons have been confirmed dead in a motor accident which occured on Monday evening at Felele in Lokoja involving a Dangote truck.
The Dangote truck was said to be coming from Obajana Cement Factory fully loaded with cement bags.
According to an eye witnessed account the articulated vehicle was on its way to one of the northern state when the incident occurred.
The sources further added that on getting to Felele along Lokoja- Abuja road, the brake of the vehicle failed as it crashed to heavy barricade at the center of the road and then summersaults.
The accident led to the burning of the vehicle along with the driver and the truck boy, who were burnt beyond recognition.
Meanwhile mean of the Federal Road Safety Corps were on hand to control the traffic and tried to evacuate the cement bags that filters the road to avoid another accident.
The Fire fighters were not left out as they make efforts to put off the fire to also avoid further explosion since the scene of the accident is very close to some Petrol stations.
Representing Ajaokuta Federal Constituency, Hon. Lawal Idirisu had extends his kind gesture to his constituents as he is set to pay WAEC registration for 2019/20 and JAMB registeration for candidates in Ajaokuta Federal Constituency.
The parliamentarian made it known to the good people of his Constituency, said the gesture was to encourage the final year students at the grassroots level.
The Member stated that education is key and the bedrock of development in any nation stressed that no administration will meet up her yearnings and aspirations without giving education a top priority.
He thanked the good people of his Constituency for their unflinching support to this administration and assured them of more dividends of Democracy.
He urged the handlers of the program to be fair and just enough to ensure the original students writing this Exams are properly captured.
