WEST AFRICA CERAMIC LIMITED NOT CLOSED DOWN BY KOGI GOVERNMENT – Management


The attention of West African Ceremic Limited, Ajaokuta, Kogi Stste has been drawn to a report by The Nation Newspaper alluding that our company has been closed by the state government over the Corona Outbreak.
For the a avoidance of doubt, there are two ceramic companies operating in Ajaokuta. While we may not hold brief for the other company, we make bold to say that ours was not closed.
Foremost, we are a Nigerian company and their is no Chinese national working in our firm.
Our company has been operating with full compliance to all the laid down cautious required before the Covid19 outbreak.
Since the breakout of the the Covid 19, we have taken necessary Precautionary measures to protect the management, staff and customers of the firm.
Part of the measures we put in place is applying the ‘Stay at home” order for all junior staffers of the firm, ensuring personal hygiene of persons coming into the firm through the use of sanitizers, and using temperature checks for all visitors into the firm.
Similarly, the WACL has freely given out hand sanitizers and face masks to residents within the firm’s community as part of our Coperate Social Responsibility.
This clarification became necessary in view of the several concerns shown by persons and customers, and innocent customers who may be misled by the story.
